Will the nasal spray sting, or make my blocked nose worse?
The nasal spray contains eucalyptus, so you may feel a brief cool or tingling sensation for a minute or two after use — especially if your nose is already sensitive or very blocked. It settles quickly. It helps to aim the nozzle slightly outward (towards your ear, not the centre of your nose), breathe in gently as you spray, and start with one spray per nostril. If irritation persists or your symptoms feel worse, give your nose a rest and speak to us or your doctor.
Is it a decongestant? Will I get rebound congestion?
No — it's not a chemical decongestant. Medicated decongestant sprays (with ingredients such as oxymetazoline or xylometazoline) can cause "rebound" congestion if used for more than a few days. ErasaVir works differently — it's a plant-based hygiene spray you can use daily without that rebound risk.
How do I use it?
One spray in each nostril, nozzle aimed slightly outward, breathing in gently. Twice a day for everyday nasal hygiene; up to four times a day for relief when you're congested.
Has it been clinically studied?
Yes. In a randomised, controlled Phase IV clinical study, ErasaVir eased cold and upper-respiratory symptoms — including blocked and runny nose and sneezing — as well as a conventional treatment regimen (antibiotics, an antihistamine and paracetamol), with no adverse events reported.
Is it safe for daily use?
Yes. It's plant-based, alcohol-free, made with food-safe ingredients, and designed as a gentle daily respiratory-hygiene habit.
Do I need the mouth spray too?
